I got to use this post to give some thanks and throw out some praises from my birthday.
When I got up to leave for the day, I found muffins at my door. And not just any old muffins, amazing muffins from Becca Nelson with a thoughtful card in a nice basket with a towel. My immediate thought was that maybe the basket was from Nate, since he is like the nicest guy on the planet, but when I thought about how it required cooking that took him off the list. So, Becca dropped them off at like 5:45 this morning I hear. Quite Amazing Indeed. Thanks Becca!
When I got to work there was an envelope labeled, Nic Shayko- SA of STA. I open in and there was a whole decoding mystery that had matrix algebra, British voting terms and happy hugs involved, among other things. It is kinda hard to explain, but I want to scan it and but it up here so you guys can see the whole thing. Anyway, it was a lot of fun and it took a lot of thought. It was not labeled who did it, but it was very obvious that the great Annie Kwon did this. Thanks Annie!
And if gifts from friends was not enough, I got a HUGE gift from my new school, George Washington University. I recieved a fellowhip to GWU, which cover 1 class, which translates into $3,000. It is 3k less I have to take out in loans. Thanks Colonials!
And of course, thanks God for my great friends and the opportunities he has given me. Now I just need to use them the way he would have me use them.
