Sorry about the lack of post the last few days. Some of you may remember my 2007 Christmas trip, which was a grueling 2,345 mile journey. It was my first big trip as I went from Washington, DC to Rochester, New York for a Wedding, then Cleveland, Ohio for Christmas, then Des Moines, Iowa for to help Mike Huckabee in the Iowa Caucus and then all the way back to Washington, DC. It was an amazing journey and something I will remember forever.
I was just planning on going home this Christmas, but due to the drop in gas prices, I am able to afford taking another trip. This trip is significantly shorter, coming in at 1,691 miles. Still, that is over 27 hours of driving in total. This time, I will be going from Washington to Cleveland for Christmas. I will stay there for a week and then travel to Columbus, Ohio and stay there for 3 days. After that I am going to Atlanta, Georgia to visit my Aunt and Uncle and at the same time my grandfather from Florida is going to drive up there so I will get to see him as well. Six days later I will be leaving there to come back to DC. Here is a map to see it visually.
I hope all my readers are able to share Christmas with someone that they love.
Blessings,
Nic
