March 12th, 2007: Terrorist Victory

The terrorist attacked us six and a half years ago and they have scored a victory that they probably went to sleep dreaming would happen. I was on the School tour and I was in Washington DC. I walked through so many metal detectors that I worry about X-ray exposure to my body. People can't walk up close to the white house, for the sake of terror. People can't just go up the Washington monument, for the sake of a possible terrorist attack.

Still, there is a positive side. Most of the precautions and not ridiculous. And people now feel safer with these things into place.

Still, things will never be the same again, and for that the terrorist can rightfully claim a victory.
