Mike Huckabee is not in the position he wishes he would be
in. Still, there are some advantages to where he is at. Right now, he can do
some guerrilla warfare. I have been saying the social conservatives have been
the foot soldiers of the Republican Party. Mike Huckabee has the majority of
these people. Everyone is focusing on the fact that Huckabee is down on money.
Let me remind everyone that Huckabee has always been down on money. We won in Iowa because we have the
best candidate, and we had supporters come from all over the country and
practice guerrilla warfare.
Everyone said that Mitt Romney had the best organization. In
many ways he did. He had the most money, the best consultants and the most high
tech technology. Everyone was predicting a photo finish in Iowa. Folks, there was no photo finish. Mike
Huckabee won Iowa
by 9 points. He won by so much because we had some guerrilla warfare, with the
grassroots. Romney did not know it was over until it was too late.
So what happened in South
Carolina? Well, bad circumstances were part of it,
which I talked about in an earlier post. Still folks, we got a little lax. We
figured Mike could win SC then FL and then it was over. Folks, we need to get
back to guerrilla warfare. If we can shock people again, we can still pull this
out.
The Huckabee people have grown on this whole grassroots
effort. People came from all over the country to call Iowans and we turned out
our people better than Romney turned out his. You can now go on www.mikehuckabee.com and call people
all over Florida.
After Florida,
we can call people in all the Super Tuesday states. Through our efforts online,
we can call people offline and help get Mike Huckabee elected president.
Folks, the moment is now. Now, you don’t have to be able to
give money. You can give something more important over the next few days, time.
You may say that it will cost you too many long distance minutes. Folks, I have
