As a conservative, I am not supposed to like Chris Matthews. He is the host of the MSNBC show Hardball. I love Matthews because I love his personality. I like him more that Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity or Lou Dobbs. He just seems to understand politics. I think he has a good grip on the candidates. He puts into words how people are thinking. While Matthews may have been a bit harsh, what he says is essentially correct. Without Bill Clinton screwing around, Hillary Clinton is just remember as the first lady who had that screwed up health care proposal. Him screwing around brought her to the forefront, and was her shining moment. It propelled her to a US Senate seat and now this Still, pressure mounted and he must have been given some serious heat by MSNBC, as he was driven to give an apology on air after people such as the ladies on the view called his comments sexist. I sure hope that this indicant does not tone down Chris. I love how he is very blunt and anti PC. I think it is why I like Chris Matthews so much. O’Reilly is that was as well, but I feel like Bill is trying to push his conservative position across. Chris, while a liberal, tries to understand everyone, and I feel he does that with success.
